Blood Drive (Gerard Petrocelli) – The next Blood drive will be on August 9th 2025. We continue to grow the number of products each year. Advertisement for this blood drive was sent out today. Please spread the word.

He has spent the last 3 years in the Massachusetts area and has spent 2025 in the Boston area. He will continue to work at colleges in the area to spread the word and that he has brought at least 6 young people back into the church in 2025. Deacon Tony mentioned that he remembers PJ when he was an Altar Server.

All items were distributed to two centers one in Newton and the other in Hackettstown. Mike Sabella’s wife made 4 diaper bags out of the left over material from the chair renovation project.
Installation Dinner (Jim Sweeney) – Jim stated that he was overwhelmed with the support and praise that he received during the installation dinner in Paterson. He was grateful for all members of the 6100 Council that showed up to witness his installation. He stated that the Mass run by Bishop Kevin Sweeney (no relation to Jim) was enlightening where the Bishop’s homily was based on the life of the Knights founding Father “McGivney”. Jim stated that there are pins available if you were unable to attend the installation. Jim also stated that one of our main missions is to help Chip Sturm bring in new members.
Eucharistic Procession – (Dan Fuller) – Procession went well and Dan thanked all that helped. Dan mentioned that we were able to move ceremony inside day of as thunder showers were forecast.
State Convention (Tom Rohe) – Nothing new to report.
4th Degree (Tom Rohe) – The 4TH Degree has the summer off so there is no meeting planned for July. The next meeting is to be held on the 3RD Tuesday in August 8/19/25 and all are encouraged to attend. The Veterans picnic was a huge success with multiple attendees and all the food was devoured which meant it must have been good. There is a Pasta Dinner being setup to be held in the parish center sometime in early October.
