Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:37 pm by Grand Knight (GK) Joe D’Anna.
Warden’s Report
All present were in possession of a current membership card.
Opening Prayer
Opening prayer was led by GK Joe D’Anna.
Pledge of Allegiance
Salute to the flag was led by the council members.
Roll Call of Officers
N/A- per new format
Chaplain report
There was no chaplain report as the chaplain was not present.
Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted on a motion by Dan Fuller, seconded by Bob Jacobs and accepted by a unanimous vote.
Membership Report
- Chip needs a new recruiting folder with card to have people sign in. “I casually have been speaking with people”. The recruiting folders are in the supply room.
Grand Knight’s Report
- Keep in mind what is happening in Europe. I don’t know where it stops, but keep them in your prayer.
Treasurer’s Report (Wally)
The Treasury’s report was sent to the trustees – a copy can be requested through the trustees.
Financial Secretary’s Report (Gerard)
Financial secretary’s report is emailed to Trustees in advance for approval of expenditures.
Program Report
John Watral (Squire)
- We have 5 new members at our first meeting
- We participated at the free throw contest- some went to Paterson- both girls went to State level.
- The food drive at the fire house was very slow. We collected 275 lbs of food and $250 was donated.
- We will have an Easter Egg Hunt on Holy Thursday- On Friday we will be at Station #2
Tom Rohe (Squire)
- State Squire retreat- Camp Auxillium (they will work, then lunch, then retreat- Father Ben will do reconciliation, Father Rush will do the mass).
- Tank Pull is June 12, 2022
4th Degree
Tom Rohe
- Exemplification April 24, 2022
- Every 3rd Tuesday of the month meeting of 4th degree
- June 5th, 2022 from 9:00am -1:00pm- Breakfast at the KOC Hall in Flanders – $15 all you can eat (4th degree) – Vets eat free. All profits benefit military programs.
Baby bottles: We collected $2,357
Gerry Kaufhold:
- April- May Diaper Drive
- 40 days for life- Every Wednesday from 10:00am-11:00 am during Lent.
- April 8th – KOC leads Station of The Cross.

- Blood Drive: April 30, 2022

- We are clear to start working again.
Unfinished Business:
Motion to allocate up to $650 during the Columbian year 2021-2022 for an extra blood drive was made by Gerard Petrocelli, seconded by Shawn Mickus and approved by a unanimous voice vote. This constitutes the first reading. The second reading will be held at the meeting of April 18, 2022.
New Business:
- Motion to donate up to $150 for the Squire to attend the State Squire retreat was made by Dan Fuller, seconded by Gerry Kaufhold and approved by a unanimous voice vote.
- Motion to allocate up to $650 during the Columbian year 2021-2022 for an extra blood drive was made by Gerard Petrocelli, seconded by Shawn Mickus and approved by a unanimous voice vote. This constituted the first reading. The second reading will be held at the meeting of April 18, 2022.
Insurance Agent Report
- No insurance report
District Deputy Report
- Free throw contest- great job!
- There is membership online for Chip to look into instead of the recruit package
- Safe environment: District 36 is green across the board
- Affiliate program- paper to get to the District Deputy no later than March 23, 2022.
- May convention in Wildwood
