Peaceful Prayer Vigil at Planned Parenthood Abortion Mill

On February 29, the day of the 48th annual “March for Life” in Washington D.C., prayer warriors from Council 6100 and the Long Valley Council joined forces at the Planned Parenthood in Morristown, NJ to pray for an end to abortion. Since COVID restricted actual participation in the March, and in spite of 12 degree temperatures, Tom Kimble, Chip Strum and Gerry Kaufhold, and the GK and one other member from Long Valley demonstrated and prayed the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet. This was also an opportunity to get ready for the “40 Days for Life” project that has effectively saved thousands of baby’s lives and resulted in the closing of hundreds of abortion facilities throughout the country. The 40 Days project kicks off on Ash Wednesday (February 17) and runs throughout Lent. Our small group does this weekly every Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM. All are welcome to join us at 196 Speedwell Avenue in Morristown. If you wish to participate at a different time of day, you can register and pick a time and location at “40DaysforLife.org.”
