Pride In Priests Dinner Returns
On Monday, November 22, 2021, after a one-year hiatus, the annual Pride in Priests dinner was held at the Hanover Manor. The Paterson Federation hosted the event that was attended by four hundred and four people, including two bishops and seventy-one priests.
Paterson’s Bishop Sweeney, Council 6100’s own Worthy State Treasurer Jim Sweeney (no relation that we know of), and the Worthy State Deputy James E Stoever gave brief remarks.
This annual event is a great opportunity to show our love and support for the priests in our diocese and to speak with them in a personal and relaxed environment. In addition to our own Fr. Antonio, other St Jude past celebrants were also in attendance. It was great to see Fr. Ben and Fr. Jim and Fr. Michael.
