Our Council Scholarship Committee, Dan Fuller, Jim Sweeney, Dave Rose, Lenny Martin, and Tom DeLalla, selected the winners from a pool of 12 applications based on the highest appraisals across 5 categories: Scholastic Achievement, Church/Religious Institution activities, Community activities, Extra Curricular activities and Essay. Each committee member independently reviews and scores each application. As in all previous years, to remove any bias in the selection process, all applications are reviewed by the committee with the applicant’s identity removed.

The Thomas Christopher DeLalla Memorial Scholarship, in its 20th year, was selected by the DeLalla family from a pool of 11 applicants and awarded to the candidate who best met the scholarship criteria for accomplishment, commitment, dedication, and leadership in activities and organizations to benefit others, the community and the youth of Mount Olive Township.

In addition to the 5 Council 6100 scholarships, and now in its 18th year, The DiCicco Family Scholarship was awarded in the amount of $4000 ($1000/yr for 4 years). The winner was chosen by the DiCicco family from a pool of 15 applicants.
