Knight of the Month For August 2022 – Joe Tarallo
This Brother Knight joined our Order on April 20, 2010. He and his wife Colette are parishioners at St. Jude. During the pandemic shutdown, he played a key role in setting up and running the technology to ensure that masses were live streamed so we could all be a part of the mass.
He has participated in the leadership of our Council for several years by holding the office of Advocate. He is a Bingo Team leader and runs the backroom for Team 2.
Our Council faced many challenges resurrecting bingo this year and Joe played a key role in getting us back up and running.
He temporarily resolved the sound system issues we were having and arranged for consultation on how to improve those issues permanently.
He was part of the team that evaluated new equipment options. He spent many hours testing equipment, documenting problems, and getting them resolved. He took ownership in documenting how the new system works and created an extensive and detailed manual on the process. He has helped train workers on the cash registers and the caller’s program. He has worked almost every Friday night since bingo opened. We would not be in the position we are with Bingo without the work that he has done!
It is for these reasons that I am proud to declare Joe Tarallo the Fr. Joseph A. Cassidy Council 6100 Knight of the Month for August 2022.
